Sony NEX-7 stock status

The Sony NEX-7 was announced in late August 2011, and it became the flagship of the Sony NEX mirrorless series. It was one of three cameras using the new 24mp APS-C sensor. The camera has been delayed as a result of the natural disasters that tragically affected Thailand and SouthEast Asia. For more details on the camera, check its list of reviews.

      Unfortunately we have finite resources. When there are new cameras and new news and announcements raining left and right day after day, everything else slows down. Other things equal, all should be refreshed by Sunday night.

      It is hard to tell for sure. It depends on how many they receive and how many pending pre-orders they have to fulfill first. Neither one of those numbers is known.

      Unfortunately I have no idea who is going to receive it first – other than what estimates retailers publish on their websites, and those are only estimates. And the estimates change over time depending on newer pre-orders, cancellations, and supply adjustments.

      thanks for the reminder! there was one at the previous iteration of the stock status pages, but I haven’t ported it here. Some of the NEX-5n kits appear to be in-stock at various retailers and the prices are the same at all authorized dealers, so I would have to further look into it to see whether it would be feasible.
